The perfect medium beach combo for begginers, kids and experienced fisherman alike. This combo is perfect for fishing with pillie tails, and other small baits from the beach for all the bread and butter species but leans more towards fishing beaches where you will catch a lot of Salmon and Tailor or you prefer to fish whole pilchards to target them and still have some fun. The Combo is also good for walking the rocks casting small metals for Salmon and Tailor. The rod is the Catana 1062 Surf and has a slow taper and is soft so you wont pull hooks on fish and is forgiving on your young fisherman just getting started. The reel is the Shimano Sedona 5000 and comes spooled with J Braid X8 Chartreuse 20lb that is a great casting line.

The Rod
